Position: Major Accounts Manager
Salary 25 - 30 Lacs PA
Job Summary:
This role is responsible
for maximising revenue potential within assigned geography and/or accounts.
It is primarily measured on quarterly and annual invoiced revenue (including
product mix) for their assigned accounts.
These roles have
responsibility for sales for all products.
Accountabilities:
·
Drive
(strategic) revenue by selling enterprise products and services to new and
existing customers ensuring that quarterly and annual revenue and product mix
targets are met or exceeded.
·
Research
business issues to uncover new RSA applications within existing customers.
·
Penetrate
account at corporate levels through executive briefing and meetings, and
develop an intimate understanding of customer’s business, technical issues and
organizational structure, and document this using appropriate systems
·
Participate
as a team member in winning new national or global accounts.
·
Maximize the
effectiveness of RSA’s channel partners’ sales teams, through knowledge
transfer of RSA selling techniques and positioning during joint calls.
·
Focus on
leveraging existing customers, generating new customers and converting
accounts who use competitor products to the use of RSA products and services.
·
Build
relationships with the sales teams of RSA channel partners and RSA “secured”
partners.
·
Demonstrate
an understanding of the business issues, the security industry and RSA
products and services;
·
Play a role
in developing and maintaining relationships with channel partner principals
(with Channel Management, Sales Management,…)
·
Ensure close
liaison with all relevant functions within RSA to communicate product and
support needs as well as strategic developments
·
Build a
strong team based model and deploy country and regional RSA resources to
maximize business potential
·
Provide
timely and accurate revenue, customer and management reports using in-house
systems (Siebel)
Key Relationships:

Reports to
Regional Sales Manager
·
Close
working relationships with other country Territory Managers and Business
Development Managers
Qualifications and
Experience:
Essential
-
Sales
experiences within a high tech industry, ideally gained in Software, IT
Security, access/networking industry, or e-business solutions (minimum 7
years+)

Demonstrated competence at major account development, account management and
strategic sales, with finanicial institutions and service sector.

Ability
to work at senior levels within an organization
